Microsoft In Ad Deal With WPP's 24/7 Media

Redmond-based Microsoft has inked a new digital advertising partnership, this time with WPP's 24/7 Media. According to the two, they have linked Microsoft's Advertising Exchange with Real Media Group, 24/7 Media's business unit, where the exchange will become the exclusive third-party ad exchange for Real Media. In addition, the two said that the Microsoft Media Network will become the only non-WPP source of programmatic access to Real Media's premium inventory. Finally, the two also said they will expand a deal to use Microsoft's Atlas ad server, which is already the preferred ad server at WPP. Financial details of the partnership were not announced.
