Mirabilis Raises $4M

Seattle, Washington-based Mirabilis Medica has raised $4M in a Series A financing, led by Charter Life Sciences and vSpring Capital. The firm is developing a high intensity focused ultrasound system used for treating gynecological diseases. The firm's non-invasive systems are targeted at treating conditions which traditionally required invasive surgery. The firm's technology is based on research developed at the University of Washington. More information »
