Monsoon Commerce Names New CEO, VP

Portland-based e-commerce software developer Monsoon Commerce announced this morning that it named both a new CEO and VP of Engineering. The company said it has named Tommaso Trionfi as its CEO, and Rob Teichman as VP of Engineering. Former CEo Jim Cruckshank has moved to become Chairman of the board. Trionfi was previously at Merchantry, Wimba, and other technology companies; Teichman was most recently VP product development for Merchantry, and also has served at eBay Enterprise/GSI Commerce. Monsoon Commerce is owned by private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners.
