Napera Networks Names Dawson Marketing VP

Seattle-based Napera Networks has appointed Margaret Dawson as the firm's Vice President of Marketing, the firm said today. Napera said that Dawson joins the firm from Microsoft, where she led a product management team for two network security products at the firm. She has also served at Amazon.com, and The Weber Group/McCann Erickson. Dawson will head up the firm's go-to-market plan and overall marketing initiatives. Napera Networks is developing network access control (NAC) products for the small and medium sized enterprise market, and is venture backed by OVP Venture Partners.
