Off & Away Adds To Board

Seattle-based Off & Away, the startup online travel auction site backed by Madrona Ventures, said this morning that it has added Brad Gerstner to its board of directors. Gerstner is founder and CEO of Altimeter Capital Management, and also has been at PAR Capital. Off & Away said Gerstner has been involved in managing investments in such firms as Farecast, Sidestep, ITA Software, Priceline and Expedia; he currently is on the board or is an observer of such firms as Orbitz and Zillow.
