Onyx Goes Private

Bellevue, Washington-based Onyx Software, which is listed on the Nasdaq as ONXS, has agreed to be taken private by M2M Holdings. The firm said today that the deal is worth approximately $92M. M2M Holdings is a holding company that is jointly owned by Battery Ventures and Thoma Cressey Equity Partners. Onyx develops software for the customer relationship management (CRM) market. Onyx will operate as a separate business unit of Made2Manage Systems.
