Optimum Energy Replaces CEO

Seattle-based energy optimization services provider Optimum Energy, the software- and data-driven company which helps enterprises with their facility and energy management, said Monday that it has named Bert Valdman as the company's new President and CEO. Valdman was previously at Edison International, and has been on Optimum Energy's board since 2013. The firm said that Valdman replaces current President and CEo Matt Frey. The reason for the executive switchup was not given by the company. Optimum Energy is backed by Columbia Pacific Advisors, Edison International, and Navitas Capital.
