PeepCode Acquired By Pluralsight For Open Source Instruction

Seattle-based PeepCode, which provides online training videos for open source projects such as Ruby, JavaScript, Unix, and Git, has been acquired by online training service Pluralsight. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Pluralsight operates an online service which lets users learn about software and IT subjects from online videos from instructors. Pluralsight said the buy will extend its library of content into the open source domain, and "hardcore programmers." PeepCode founder Geoffrey Grosenbach will become head of Pluralsight's open source division.
