Pixelworks CEO On Leave Due To Health, VC to Head Firm

Tualatin, Oregon-based video processing chip firm Pixelworks reported Thursday that the firm's CEO and President, Hans Olsen, will go on a temporary leave of absence starting in January due to a health issue. The firm said that Bruce A. Walicek will serve as acting CEO and President of the firm. Walicek is a director of the firm, and is a venture capitalist at Sevin Rosen Funds. Pixelworks develops video processing technology for digital projectors and flat panel displays.
