Provata Health Finds $1.4M In STTR Funding

Portland-based Provata Health, a developer of workplace wellness programs, said Wednesday that it has raised $1.4M in funding, via a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase II funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The company--led by Alex Goldberg--develops a wellness program specifically aimed at firefighters, by increasing their daily activity, aerobic capacity, daily intake of fruits and vegetables, improving peer support, and reducing blood pressure.
