RealWear Names COO

Vancouver-based RealWear, whcih is developing an augmented reality (AR)-enabled, wearable computing device for the industrial market, said this morning that it has named Andrew E. Chrostowski was as its Chief Operating OFficer. Chrostowski was most recently President of Tyco's Scott Safety Division, and now serves on the board of Rogers Group. He also has served on the boards of Nevada Nano, Tyco Cares Charity and the Scott Foundation. RealWear announced in February that it raised $17M in a Series A funding, which came from Columbia Ventures Corporation.
