Report: Washington State Cleantech Investment Totaled $87M Last Year

Clean technology inestments in Washington State totaled $87M last year, according to numbers released this morning by San Francisco-based clean technology consulting firm Cleantech Group. According to the company, it totalled up $87,324,000 in clean technology venture capital investments in Washington State last year, with the top funding deals being the $20M raised by UtiliData, $14.2M for Optimum Energy, $10.5M for Prometheus Energy, $10.0M for MicroGREEN Polymers, and $6.0M for Seeq. The Cleantech Group announced the numbers as part of a effort to attract users to its i3 market intelligence reports, which are only available via subscription.
