Rhapsody Chops 15 Percent

Seattle music service Rhapsody has chopped fifteen percent of its staff, and shuffled its executive ranks, including President Jon Irwin. The major shakeup at the company comes as a New York investment firm, Columbus Nova Technology Partners, has acquired a major stake in the company. The company let go of around 30 workers late Monday. Rhapsody has seen significant challenges in an increasingly competitive, online music market.
