Sarcos Taps Retired Special Operations Admiral, General For Advisory Board

Bellevue, Washington- and Salt Lake City, Utah-based military robot developer Sarcos Robotics has named two retired military leaders to its advisory board, the company announced today. Sarcos has added Admiral Eric T. Olson, U.S. Navy (Ret.) and General Paul F. Gorman, U.S. Army (Ret.) to its Advisory Board. Admiral Olson was head of the United States Special Operations Command, and was a Navy SEAL. Gorman was most recently Commander in Chief, United States Southern Command (USCINCSO). Sarcos is creating "exoskeleton" robots -- similar to those portrayed in Iron Man or Call of Duty--for both military and civilian use.
