Small Society Acquired By Walmart Labs

Portland-based Small Society, a developer of mobile applications, has been acquired by Walmart Labs, Walmart's digital research arm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Walmart labs said that it will add Small Society to its existing Oregon office. Small Society has developed apps for such customers as the Democratic National Committee and Starbucks.
