Smarsh Rolls Out API

Portland-based Smarsh, the developer of compliance and e-discovery tools, has rolled out a new application programming interface (API) aimed at helping developers link into its service. Smarsh said late last week that it has rolled out the Smart Developers program, which offers up an API to let developers access its archives. Smarsh is led by Steve Marsh, and offers up its software and services to companies to manage the archiving of customer communications, social media, website changes, and more for regulatory reasons.
