SonoSite Acquisition By Fujifilm Completes

The acquisition of Bothell-based SonoSite, the provider of ultrasound technology, has completed, FujiFilm said this morning. FujiFilm had said it would pay $995M for SonoSite in December, paying $54.00 per share in cash for the maker of ultrasound equipment. FujiFilm said that SonoSite will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, and will continue its operations in Bothell.
