Square 1 Bank Bolsters Seattle Presence

Square 1 Bank, a specialized technology banks, said Wednesday that it has bolstered its Seattle presence, to help grow the company's business in the Pacific Northwest. According to Square 1 Bank, Rilus Graham has relocated to Seattle to grow the company's life sciences practice, and establish connections with the area's entrepreneurial, venture capital, and industry communities. Graham was most recently heading up the bank's life sciences efforts in San Diego, California. Square 1 is based in Durham, NC. Square 1 is among a number of banks which focus on high tech companies, and competes with Silicon Valley Bank, Bridge Bank, and others in the Silicon Valley market.
