thePlatform Signs NBC-Universal/News Corp Venture As Customer

Seattle-based thePlatform has scored a deal with a new NBC-Universal and News Corp. joint venture, the firm reported Tuesday. thePlatform said it will provide content publishing and distribution services for an Internet video venture which will be launched by NBC-Universal and News Corp. The new venture will include full length content from major networks and film studios across the web. thePlatform provides broadband video content management for broadband media sites and content providers.
