Intelius Files For IPO

Bellevue-based Intelius, the information security firm headed by Naveen Jain, has filed for an IPO. Intelius said in a filing with the SEC Thursday that it hopes to raise up to $143.75M in an IPO on the NASDAQ Global Market. The company is looking to list as "INTL" in the IPO. The offering is being undewritten by Deutsche Bank Securities, Bear, Stearns & Co., CIBC World Markets, and Cowen and Company. According to the firm's S-1, the company had revenues of $54.7M in 2006, with net income of $4.5M for the year. For the last nine months ending September 30, the firm had $60M in revenues and net income of $6.1M. Naveen Jain, who made his fortune at Microsoft and Infospace, is the largest shareholder in the firm, in addition to other executives at the company.
