FEI Gets Win

FEI Co., a provider of high-resolution imaging and analysis systems, revealed Monday that an international biopharmaceutical firm has chosen FEI technology to assist with its nanoparticle research. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. FEI said the Mumbai, India-based client, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., has already installed FEI's Tecnai Spirit cryo-transmission electron microscope and 3-D tomography software at its Advanced Research Centre in Vadodara, India. FEI said Sun Pharma will use its 3-D imaging solution to accelerate development of new therapeutics. FEI is headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore.
