Avenue A | Razorfish Becomes Razorfish

Seattle-based interactive marketing agency Avenue A | Razorfish said Monday that the firm has shortened its name to Razorfish, saying that it decided it no longer needs two names to represent the firm. Avenue A | Razorfish was formed in 2004 by the merger of Avenue A and Razorfish, two digital marketing and web design firms. According to the firm's CEO, Clark Kokich, the firm picked Razorfish because of "stronger brand equity around the world." The company said it now has over 2,200 people in 20 offices across the United States, Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom.
