Digital Railroad Shuts Down

Seattle-based Digital Railroad, an online photo site that hosts photos for professional photographers, has shut down. According to a notice on the firm's web site, it had reduced its staff and was looking for additional financing or a strategic partner. The firm said that the company has been forced to close all operations. The shutdown leaves the firm's photographers without access to their photo archives as of 11:59 pm tonight, October 31st. Digital Railroad is now being liquidated by Diablo Management Group.
