Jive Adds University

Portland-based Jive Software, publisher of business collaboration and online community software, revealed Wednesday that a Georgia technical university has adopted Jive's collaboration platform for its social business initiative. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to Jive, Southern Polytechnic State University of Marietta, Ga., will use Jive's social business software to facilitate communication between the university's faculty, staff and student body. Jive said its software will help the learning institution cope with an "unprecedented growth" in its student population and a significant increase in online courses.
