Intellicheck Mobilisa Wins State Agency

Port Townsend, Washington-based Intellicheck Mobilisa revealed Tuesday that its ID-reading technology will help power the state of Georgia's online driver's license verification tool. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to Intellicheck, its patented ID-reading technology scans barcodes from driver's licenses or personal identification cards and then processes the encoded information to pre-populate forms or applications. This, Intellicheck explained, will help the Georgia Technology Authority improve productivity while reducing data entry errors and the risk of identity theft. Established in 2000, the GTA manages the stability and security of the state's IT infrastructure.
