F5 Solutions Signs WestJet

Seattle-based F5 Networks, a developer of network acceleration products, revealed today that a Canadian airline is using F5's products to distribute its online booking system across the globe. Seattle-based F5 identified its new client as WestJet, which employs some 7,500 people and maintains a 55 city network across Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. F5 said WestJet is using F5's BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager and products. Size of the deal was not disclosed.
