Mentor Gets Win At Trident Microsystems

Wilsonville, Oregon-based EDA software maker Mentor Graphics said that its tools have been selected by Trident Microsystems. According to Mentor, Trident will use its Veloce platform for system verification of its next, general, digital TV SoC chips. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Mentor makes circuit emulators, simulators, and design software for the semiconductor design market.
