Microsoft Licenses HealthVault To Siemens

Microsoft reported early this morning that it is in a licensing agreement with Siemens AG, via Siemsns' IT Solutions and Services Division, to introduce the firm's HealthVault personalized health information service in Germany. Financial terms of the license were not disclosed, however, Microsoft said that Siemens will be the exclusive operator of HealthVault in Germany, and will market the service to developers, application provider, and device manufacturers. HealthVault allows users to store their personal health information, including disease history, immunizations, and prescription information in an online account.
