Isilon Gets First Profitable Quarter

Seattle-based storage products manufacturer Isilon Systems said this week that it had its first profitable quarter. According to Isilon, it had net income of $0.1M in the fourth quarter of 2009, on revenues of $37.5M. The firm said the profit compared with a net loss of $4.9M on revenues of $31.8M last year. For th eyear, the firm reported revenues of $123.9M, and a loss of $18.8M. Isilon trades on the NASDAQ as ISLN, and develops network attached storage (NAS) data storage products.
