RuleSpace: eSoft Claims "Patently False"

Beaverton, Oregon-based RuleSpace, a developer of web categorization and filtering software, said late Thursday that the allegations in the lawsuit against the firm by competitor eSoft are "patently false." RuleSpace was sued yesterday by eSoft, over misappropriated intellectual property. RuleSpace claimed that the lawsuit came after the firm legally purchase a copy of eSoft's product, registered it in its own name, and had just started to test it as part of ongoing competitive research. RuleSpace said it had not yet received a copy of the lawsuit.
