Micro Power Trumpets Patent

Beaverton, Oregon-based Micro Power Electronics, a developer of power supplies for the medical, military, and other markets, is trumpeting a patent from the U.S. Patent Office this morning. The firm said it received U.S. Patent No. 7,576,513, covering technology to ensure that batteries do not overhead while charging. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, the patent was actually issued in August of last year. The patent names David S. Neirescher, a System Architect at Micro Power, as inventor. The firm was represented by NW Patent Group in the filing, which was made in January of 2007.
