Clearwire Ramps Up In Kansas, Extends Network Elsewhere

Kirkland-based Clearwire reported late last night that it has launched its services in Kansas City, Kansas. The firm said it is covering 670 square miles in the city, and also opened up a number of retail stores in the area. The firm also said it has opened up service in central Washington D.C., and an expanded 4G network in Baltimore. The firm said the new wireless services reach more than 1.1 million people in Kansas City.
