Marchex Links With Canadian Yellow Pages Firm, Skype

Seattle-based Marchex and the Canadian Yellow Pages Group said today they are in a call advertising deal. The firms said they are in a click-to-call advertising deal for customers using Skype, which will make those calls free to users of Skype 4.0 for Windows. The deal includes a special "Free Call" button when those numbers are displayed on the Internet, when a user is running the Skype Toolbar plug-in. Marchex provides local advertising services, including a pay-per-call service to help generate leads to businesses.
