DocuSign Dangles $25K To Developers
Seattle-based DocuSign, the provider of electronic signature software-as-a-service, is dangling $25,000 in cash prizes to attract developers. According to the firm, it is running a "ESIGN Hackathon" in San Francisco which will award the best developers, entrepreneurs, and systems integrators who develops applications using its products. DOcuSign publishes an application programming interface (API) which allows users to gather electronic signatures from users. The firm said the contest, to be held May 14-15th in San Francisco, looks to spur new applications which integrate and extend its service into new markets and platforms.
