Extensis Upgrades Font Server

Portland-based Extensis, the developer of font management software, said today that it has upgraded its font server software, Universal Type Server. The firm said the updated software helps companies police font usage and prevent misuse and license infringement of fonts. The firm said it is aiming to help companies avoid the legal issues and risks behind font license misuse. The software will ship in June.
