Dynotag Debuts QR Code Service

Seattle-based Dynotag, a new QR code service aimed at consumers, said today that it has launched its service to help users create their own QR codes. The firm--headed by Murat Divringi--said its QR codes will allow users to attach text, images, collateral, audio, and other files and information to labels, pet tags, cards, and other products. Divringi said that the web-based service is aimed at providing access to QR codes specifically to the consumer market. The firm is looking to offer up its pre-printed QR code items--which include luggage tags, preprinted labels, pet tags, and other products--via Amazon, so that users do not have to figure out how to encode a QR code and post content on the web. The tags also offer up PIN protection for access to information on a tag, and other features.
