Symform Powers Backup Service For QNAP

Seattle-based Symform, the developer of a cloud storage service, is powering a new cloud backup service from network attached storage maker QNAP, QNAP announced today. QNAP Systems said that its customers will receive up to 200 GB of free cloud backup when they purchase its NAS products. The backup service will ship with new QNAP NAS units, and can also be added to existing products. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
