Mentor In Android Professional Services Win

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, the developer of electronic design automation tools, said today that its Android Professional Services arm has scored a customer, Vancouver, B.C.-based Recon Instruments. Mentor said it helped develop an Android-powered, GPS micro optic display for sports goggles. Financial impact of the engagement were not disclosed. Mentor said it aided in software architecture design, silicon support, and Android software development as part of the Recon Instruments product.
