Bing Taps Calbucci For Startup Advice Videos

Microsoft's search engine, Bing.com, launched a new effort to feature pitches of startups, plus startup advice, in an effort spearheaded by Seattle's own Marcello Calbucci. In a blog post, Bing said it is launching a "startup video experiment" called Bing Casting Call. The video series will feature 30 second startup pitches, and up to 3 minutes of startup tips, from startups in Seattle and elsewhere around the country. Bing said the series will initially focus on seven startups looking for future funding. The video is being shot by Bing's Ted Roduner and Marcello Calbucci, best known for his work on the Seattle 2.0 web site. The new videos will be posted on the Bing Booster site and on Ustream. Bing Booster, part of the Microsoft BizSpark program, is aimed at helping to accelerate startups.
