INRIX Launches New iPhone, iPad App

Kirkland-based Inrix said Tuesday that it has launched a new app for the iPhone and iPad, to provide traffic information to users. INRIX said its new app uses the same sources of data which power traffic information systems for automakers, and provide the best routes and information on traffic to users. The new app is free. Among features of the app are ability to find the fastest routes between locations, adjusting for things like accidents, sporting events, and other local events affecting traffic; ability to share arrival times with contacts; and personalized traffic alerts.
