Intellectual Ventures In Patent License With Infineon

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures said this week that it has signed a patent licensing deal with semiconductor maker Infineon. According to IV, the deal gives Infineon access to its patent portfolio of nearly 40,000 IP assets. Financial details of the licensing deal were not disclosed. Intellectual Ventures said that Infineon will be able to use the patents from its portfoil to defend against the threat of patent litigation.
