UIEvolution Powers Kymeta Prototype

Seattle-based user interface software developer UIEvolution reports that its software has been being used by another local startup, Kymeta, for its proof-of-concept efforts for its metamaterials-based, flat-panel satellite and communications antennas. Financial details of the deal were not announced. UIEvolution said that Kymeta is using its products to facilitate communication between devices such as smartphones, tablets, automotive head units and smart TVs with Kymeta's satellite antennas. Kymeta is based in Redmond, and is a spinout of Intellectual Ventures.
