Tripwire Tackles Heartbleed Vulnerability

Portland-based security and compliance software developer Tripwire said Friday afternoon that it has updated its various security tools, to help detect Heartbleed--the vulnerability in the widely used, OpenSSL web software. Tripwire said its Tripwire IP360, Tripwire PureCloud, and Tripwire SecureScan products now detect Heartbleed issues in servers. The company also rolled out a new, free service to help companies check on up to 100 Internet Protocol addresses for the issue.
