Clean Power Research Rolls Out Online Solar Calculator Tool For Utilities

Ever wonder if it makes sense for you to install solar power at your home or small business? Kirkland-based CleanPower said it is hoping to make it easier for consumers of utilities to figure that out, through its new software application, WattPlan. The software--which is aimed at adoption by utilities--helps break down energy and bill savings, optimal electric rate plans and system size, tax credits and rebates, and more for those looking at installing solar energy. Clean Power Research did not provide pricing on its new tool.
