Amazon Launches Original Holiday Music Collection

Seattle-based Amazon.com--which has been making a major push into creating its own, original content, particularly in the movie and television area--has launched a lineup of holiday music, the company said today. Amazon said its original holiday music was created by such independent artists as YACHT, Rogue Wave, Langhorne Slim, Tuxedo, Ivan & Alyosha, The LeeVees & Matisyahu, A Silent Film, Sondre Lerche & Jherek Bischoff. The songs--a mix of newly written songs and re-recorded favorites--are available for free streaming on Prime Music.
