Amazon Updates Fire With More Colors, Storage

Seattle-based Amazon has updated its Fire tablet, with a trio of new colors, and additional storage. Amazon rolled out new magenta, blue, and tangerine colored Fire tablets, and options for either 8Gb or 16Gb of memory. In addition to the new colors, Amazon said it has also added a new green "Kids Edition" version of the Fire, in addition to existing pink and blue options for customers. The new Fire 8GB version of the new Fire is $49.99, and the 16GB version is $69.99. The kids version is $99.99 for 8GB, and $119.99 for 16GB. The new tablets are loaded with Fire OS 5 "Bellini" and support up to 7 hours of battery life.
