New Game Lets You Be A Highly Paid Airline CEO
How'd you do as a highly paid, airline CEO? A new game--from Bellevue-based Recurrence, let yous find out. Recurrence said today that it has launched a new, business game, which puts you in the hot seat as the CEO or CFO of an airline, and throw such events as labor strikes, plane crashes, hostile takeovers, and more at you--all in a bid to help teach business management techniques. Recurrence said its new came, created for college students in partnership with the Center for Leadership & Strategic Thinking (CLST) at the University of Washington, is hoping to become an alternative to traditional pencil-and-paper business cases, and get students learning with some hands on experience in running a business. Recurrence said that the game is already being used in classes at the University of Washington, and that the game will also launch Stanford, Penn State, Johns Hopkins, Northeastern University, University of Illinois, Florida International University later this year.
