Starbucks Debuts Its Own, Original Videos

Seattle-based Starbucks said today that it has launched its first, original content series, which will offer up written content, video, and podcasts, talking about "ordinary people doing extraordinary things to create positive change in their communities." The new, original content effort was written and produced by Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz, along with Rajiv Chandrasekaran, a former editor of The Washington Post. According to Starbucks, the series is intended to inspire "positive change" amid cyniscism in America. Starbucks did not say how much it is investing in the series, which also includes a number of "town hall" events it is holding around the country.
