Bigleaf Networks Finds Funding For Adaptive WAN Service

Portland-based Bigleaf Networks, a developer of a WAN networking service which helps to automatically re-route, provide failover, and load-sharing of WAN traffic, has scored an investment round, the company said on Wednesday. Size of the funding was not announced. Bigleaf Networks said the funding came from a number of telcom investors, including Grivner Capital Group, Onward Communications, telecom vet Kurt Hoffman (Megapath, Speakeasy, Layered Tech), Bruce Chatterly (SpeakEasy, Broadvox, Layered), as well as the Oregon Angel Fund. Bigleaf is led by Joel Mulkey.
