SecureCast: Browser Autofill A Security Threat

Portland-based security software developer SecureCast said today that the use of browser autofill functions are a potential threat to the safety of individuals and organizations. The company, which develops security awareness and anti-phishing software, says it has launched an autofill vulnerability testing page to help companies determine if their browser are safe from a number of vulnerabilities which can expose passwords, usernames, and other data stored by users in their browsers.
